Create an Account
Go to Register, enter your name, email, and password. Verify your email to start predicting. All times shown in Nepal Standard Time (NPT, UTC+5:45).

🎯 Making Predictions
Find an upcoming match with status TIMED or SCHEDULED
Click View Details to see the unified hero card with score prediction, player predictions, and community analytics.
Click − or + to adjust predicted goals (0–20). The inputs update instantly.
Click Submit Prediction. The card updates in-place with an inline success message. No page refresh needed.

Already have a prediction? Click "Adjust Prediction Parameters" to swap the display with the score input form. Your update saves instantly via AJAX.
🔍 Player Predictions
Use the searchable dropdowns to select Goal Scorer (10 pts), First Goal Scorer (15 pts), or Player of the Match (20 pts). Type to filter by name, team, or position. Only one dropdown stays open at a time. Saves and deletions happen instantly via AJAX — no page reload.

Previous/Next buttons let you browse any fixture — past, live, or upcoming — not just those within the prediction window.
See what scorelines the community is predicting. The heatmap uses all predictions for accurate density visualization.
Shows 20 random community picks. On mobile, only the first 3 are shown with a toggle to reveal the rest.
For finished matches, shows the top 10 predictors ranked by points (descending) and earliest prediction time (ascending). Podium medals for 1st–3rd.

🏆 Tournament Predictions — Random Winner
Random Winner Selection
Tournament predictions do not award points directly. Instead, after the Round of 16 begins, all predictions are locked. The admin can then trigger a random winner selection for each category at any time — a random pick from all user submissions is drawn as the "correct" answer.
Tournament predictions close when the first Round of 16 match kicks off. Make your picks before then — no changes after the deadline!
For each category (Winner, Golden Glove, Golden Ball, Top Assist, Best Young Player), the system randomly selects one unique pick from all users who predicted that category. Those users are marked correct and shown on the tournament leaderboard.

🏅 Tournament Leaderboard — The tournament leaderboard ranks users by how many categories they got correct (out of 5). Unlike the main leaderboard (which tracks points from match predictions), this is a separate standalone ranking.

⏰ Prediction Window: You can only predict matches within 48 hours of kickoff. Make sure to check the match detail page early!

Tie-Breakers
Match leaderboard: Sorted by points (descending), then earliest prediction time (ascending).
Global leaderboard: Sorted by total points (descending), then alphabetically by name.
(Future updates may introduce accuracy and correct-count as additional tie-breakers.)
